Average earnings calculation for the year ended 31st March 2025

All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The mean earnings for GPs working in Storrsdale Medical Centre in the financial year
ended 31st March 2025 was £73,394 before deduction of employee's superannuation
contributions, tax and National Insurance. This is the average pay for the 1 full-time GP and
1 locum GP who worked in the practice for more than 6 months during that year

The most recent report on our surgery was completed in 2018.

Dr Murugesh Velayudham is the senior partner and clinical lead. Mrs Deepa Gnanasundaram is the managing partner and administrative lead. This means they are owners of the business that is contracted to provide General Medical Services under contract to the NHS. As well as seeing patients the Partners have to make time to look after the management and administration of the practice.

GP Services are commissioned by integrated care boards (ICBs) overseen by NHS England on a regional and national basis.
